“Unless you’re an environmentalist, the circular economy doesn’t resonate. There’s a real storytelling challenge there.”
This quote, from Sandy Rodger, a strategic thinker working at the cutting edge of circular business, neatly sums up the rationale behind our next Go Circular white paper.
The circular economy gets a lot of air time. Which is great. But are we talking about it in the right way? Does it make sense to anyone outside of the sustainable business community? Could we apply more creative narratives for wider engagement?
And for those working in the field of sustainability, who ‘get’ the circular economy ... is the level of content out there serving business needs? Does it need to be tailored more to inform decision making? What content type and format would create most value?
Earlier this year we undertook some research to try and find some answers. We surveyed over 100 people with a professional interest in the circular economy, we asked them some pertinent questions. We also conducted some deeper dive interviews with five leading circular experts; Sandy was one of them.
The results of this research will be published in our forthcoming white paper. It’s due to be released in time for Christmas (little helper elves permitting). So watch this space.
